Normally 2 days or an equivalent number of shorter sessions. The course will cover:

*Health and Safety

*Sharpening

*Use of 6 basic tools, e.g. roughing out gouge, skew, spindle gouge, parting tool, bowl gouge, round nose scraper          

*Finishing

 

You could expect to complete 3 projects, e.g. spurtle, apple and bowl and advice will be offered with regard to different lathes, machines and tools.
